No Blood For You

Babies ChillingPaige weighs 4 pounds 4 ounces today. Cole is pulling up the rear at 3 pound 13 ounces. Yesterday there was a developmental meeting about the babies. We were absent because of our NICU ban (cough cough). Apparently it was discussed that Cole needs to gain more weight and sleep more. So the deal is, only tend to Cole when he is feeding and let him be all other times. That boy just likes to stay awake. Paige just likes to sleep. Cole why can’t you like you sister!?

Tobie went down to the NICU today to drop milk and laundry off (and of course pick up laundry). The nurses brought the babies up to the window so Tobie could say hi :(. She was able to catch up with some of the nurses and they even took a picture of Tobie looking in from the outside (so sad). The nurses have been helping fill the void left by Tobie’s absence by holding the babies as much as possible. Paige was given some topical medication for some eye buggers because it looks like she might be developing an eye cold. Who knew there was such a thing. Stay posted on that.

I went to donate blood today for the babies. I feel pretty good, but I guess I coughed one too many times and they said I couldn’t donate. It would have been nice to know that after spending an hour doing paperwork. I guess they didn’t buy my coughing because my name was Kaufman.
