Cole was just taken to the emergency room. Last night we were doing some rearranging with the O2 tanks and I must have rubbed up against the valve and shut the tank off before bedtime. He was looking kind of pale and dusky this morning. When we finally double-checked his regulator, it was off. Don’t know the extent of the damage. More later. Paige is doing great.
Update 5:30 PM: Cole’s back. He is looking much better. Than ran a bunch of tests that of course yielded nothing. I guess the bright side to all this is he can go about 10 hours without O2. We are meeting with our peed tomorrow to go over both babies.

Sorry to hear that. I was so excited for you both. Hopefully everything is okay. I will pray for Cole.
Sincerely,
Melissa Sweetsir
I too will pray for the little guy and for both of you. Cat Sweetsir
Liz and I are relieved that he is okay; I know it must have been really scary to start the day that way.
Question: isn’t there some sort of alarm that goes off when the oxygen is low or off? It seems strange that something like that wouldn’t be standard.
Again, we’re very relieved that everything seems to be okay.
Congratulations on having both babies home! I guess Cole thought you needed a bit more excitement to the day! Glad to hear that all is fine. What a relief! I’m assuming he had a feeding or 2 w/out oxygen. That is amazing that he went 10 hrs with no oxygen! Did his apnea monitor go off? I hope the next few days are uneventful, and I’m sure you are just so glad to be home. I am so happy for you both!
