Baby You Can Drive My Car

eric   October 15th, 2006

We are getting the babies used to sharing their first car!

The weather is finally starting to cool down here in AZ. I’m in shock that it’s snowing already in other parts of the country when it’s consistently above 90 degrees here in AZ. We decided to take the babies for lunch today. We found a nice restaurant with a big patio so we could try to be free from germs. Believe it or not, this is the first time we’ve been out in public (minus a doctor’s appointment) with the entire family. We found a nice secluded spot in the corner of the patio. Of course the only two toddlers in the restaurant somehow see us and migrate over to the babies! We had a nice time out and we hope we can do it again. The great thing about AZ is it will be a cool 80 degrees for most of winter, so there will be plenty of opportunities to go out!

It really looks like they are having a great time. I hope they drive like Tobie and not Eric!

That’s it. I am moving to AZ. It has been in the 40s at night here, I would love to have 80s throughout the winter. I am glad you guys got out today. Sounds like you really enjoyed it!

Congratulations! I’m so glad that the 4 of you got out, and it sounds like it went well… I know that we’re very fearful everytime that we bring the girls in public, for different reasons. Will we really get the opportunity to eat? Will they start screaming inconsolably? etc, etc. Everytime we have a positive experience, we seem to build our confidence in trying new experiences.

      Again, congratulations on getting out!!!

Ahh, the mini-cars. I drove mine down the stairs when I was a toddler. Good times. Enjoy checking in on the family now that we’re expecting three. Thanks for the advice. - Todd
