Wednesday Edition :: Pictures, Oh My

Today was the last cervical check. Everything was great. Next week begins biweekly fetal fibronectin testing. There is no need to do cervical checks anymore as the doctors will not do a cervical cerclage at this point. The fetal fibronectin test will be an indicator if my body will go into labor in the next 2 weeks. If the test comes back positive I will probably be put on bedrest for two weeks until the test is repeated and the next result is negative. If the test is negative, that is reassurance that I should not go into labor in the next two weeks and I can continue with life as usual. Speaking of the new baby, he is soooo active between 6-9pm. He kicks my stomach so hard and it feels like he is doing somersaults nonstop. Last pregnancy at this stage the babies and I had been on the Mag for 3 weeks so they weren’t that active. It amazes me how different this pregnancy is. I know it shouldn’t….3 vs 1….but it does. I wish I knew then what I know now.

Good news on the cervix. I will cross my fingers that the FFN will be negative. I am glad the little one is active, that is a good sign! Hang in there, Tobie! We are all sending good thoughts your way!

“I wish I knew then what I know now.” Ain’t that the ugly truth.

      Good luck on your FFN!

I love that pic of Cole standing there like he’s been doing it all his life. What is that fantasticly complicated contraption he’s holding gup?

A few people left comments about this play wall. It’s getting a lot of use in our house nowadays and totally recommend it as well. Cole climbs all over it and Paige loves to grab the dangling pieces of it.
