Tobie here: First, the most exciting update: Cole held his own bottle for the first time tonight. Yes, that’s right, two hands chugging his bottle. This is a huge, HUGE breakthrough if it continues. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. Go Cole!
I had an excrutiatingly painful thing happen to me last night. It was the leg cramps from hell. In the middle of my sleep, to wake up to rock solid balls in my both my calves. Holy cow. I read this happens frequently in the third trimester and now I’m afraid to go to sleep!!
Paige is drinking from her sippy cup, but she has to be in the mood. She prefers the bottle but occasionally we catch her drinking from her sippy when she’s desperate. Go Paige!

Yay Cole, Yay Paige…owie Tobie. I can relate to the leg cramps… they knocked me flat with Rach and I sadly still get them on occasion now.
Yeah, Cole! Please come and teach lazy Cooper how to hold his bottle, he has no interest.
Tobie, I am sorry about the leg cramps- remember, that is what you have Eric for. Get to massaging, Eric!
Go Cole, go!!! Chugga chugga chugga! :):)
Tums for calcium and bananas for potassium, both can help with leg cramps during pregnancy. Good luck, I remember those cramps well even if it has been a few (8) years. Walking and stretching help as well.
I had those wonderful cramps too. I found that when they woke me up, they were just beginning. When this was the case, I would flex my foot as hard as I could. Most of the time this would stretch my calves and prevent them from getting any worse. Good luck!
Yay Cole!
Trying for the bright side here.
Yay Tobie, for being pregnant enough to have those 3rd trimester problems!
Cole, Paige, either of you… can you teach Dylan to hold a bottle OR sippy. He has NO IDEA how they work. He just reaches at it and whines until I hold it up for him to drink. Sigh.
Ouch leg cramps. Never had them… I second eating bananas. I hope they don’t keep you up all night! Goodness knows you need your sleep.
I agree with the OTHER anonymous. I could usually flex my foot really hard and get those buggers to stop bugging me. And bananas is a good idea too.
Been following your story with interest and laughs (and a few tears too) Praying for you all.
