It’s been a rough week for Tobie. She started having a lot of contractions. We were finally able to see our OB today. The good news is her cervix is still closed, but we did a fFN test to see where we are at. Dr. F has also put Tobie on modified bed rest. Sounds great in theory, but I don’t think Paige and Cole are going to cooperate. Luckily Aunt Nancy is here for a week starting Saturday (aren’t you lucky Nancy!).
The babies are doing great. They are really starting to interact with each other. Paige has gotten so mobile, she’s now giving Cole a run for his money.
UPDATE (Fri 9:30 AM): The fFN test came back negative. So we should make it well past 35 weeks. Phew! So does this mean I don’t have to clean the dishes and take out the trash since Tobie’s not that close to labor?

Poor Tobie…Hope she’s able to get lots of rest and that the contractions subside.
I can’t imagine bedrest with two babies in the house…wow!
Good luck!

Thanks for the update and hooray for making it past 35 weeks! I am very eager to “meet” the little one and to learn his name, but I can wait a few more weeks!

Whew! I know it was a great relief that the FFN was negative! Here’s to a healthy and full-term pregnancy.
And yes, Eric- you do have to take out trash. Spoil Tobie rotten the last few weeks of her pregnancy!
