On another note…..I just ordered balloons for the walk and we’ll be carrying 2 star balloons with Cole’s name on one and Paige’s on the other and a heart balloon with Kaylee’s name. I’ll be sure to send you pictures!

Yikes! That rash is scary. It doesn’t look like heat rash to me… Has he had any new foods? Is it raised and scaley?

It looks more like a heat rash to me than anything else.

I assume you’re still using dreft or whatever baby detergent you’ve always been using…any other new household cleaning agents, such as putting Resolve on the carpet to get a stain out and he flips himself over to that spot the next day and picks up a little of the residue?

With everything blooming, I’d expect allergens to affect a different part of his body, so the tactile is still my bet (heat, new clothes, cleaning agents, etc).

Hope the doc says it is just a heat rash because all the little girls say your boy is en fuego.

About the rash… Is it rough? Or smooth? Does it start off as puffy or raised bumbs, then become flat? Is it ONLY on his neck?

We have lots of experience with eczema, food allergies, and hives. This looks like it could be either, but it would depend on how if feels and how it shows up. If it is just red skin, with no bumps or scaliness to it, it is probably heat rash.

Sorry to say, but in our experience most of the time doctors have no clue what causes a rash!

Looks like contact dermatitis, especially if it started as one spot and it spreading as it rubs against his clothes or he rubs his hand across it.
