Hanging Tough

Paige“You like me, you really like me”. I feel like Sally Field after wining her Oscar. Wow can you all feel the love? I wonder what would have happened if I sent the GotTriplets mob after that blogger! Speaking of that, there is more to that story, but I think I’ll just let it go. All I will say is you think you are anonymous on the Internet, trust me, you’re not! I know a lot of people are curious about protecting their blogs. I’ll post something later regarding what you can do to help protect your Intellectual Property. But 30+ comments? You guys screwed up big time! Now I expect at least that many comments on every post. That type of response is the reason why blogging is so powerful and so cool. How could I give you guys up? Money works.

Moving on…
Cole swinging
Cole had his LAST pulmonology appointment today. Yep, Dr. W never wants to see Cole again! He’s also officially off of pulmicort. How sweet is that? That means we now only have one medicine to give him, prevacid (for reflux). It seems like yesterday we were in the NICU and the doctors said he’ll have BPD for many years to come and they didn’t know when he would be off of supplemental O2. Everyday it seemed like we were drawing up 10 syringes of medications to give him every 3 hours. Look at him now!

Paige is even taking more steps today. She’s so funny, once she realizes she can do something, that’s all she wants to do. Kind of like when she learned how to jump. Jump on floor, jump in jumperroo, jump on daddy and mommy’s belly. Jump, jump, jump, jump around!

Our Chubby Little ManIn non baby news, I got a new camera. I ditched our old Nikon Coolpix and went with a Nikon D40x. In high school I was totally into black and white photography with my Minolta SR101 (my dad used to tease me that my camera was older than me as he had bought it some years earlier before I got my mitts on it). I had a lot of good times developing all my pictures in the darkroom. I can still smell the developer. Ahhhh..cough..cough…that stuff was toxic! Unfortunately, I haven’t picked that camera up in years since everything went digital. My new camera takes such rich pictures. I had forgotten what depth of focus even was! I wish I bought this camera sooner, I would have gotten much cleaner shots of the babies their first year of life. Oh well, at least Drew will look good on film in his early days.

Paige– I think you need to email Shelby and Avery and tell them to get off their bums and walk already ;)

Eric- You are going to have to show me how to put the watermark on the photos.. I am so stupid with that stuff….

      Tobie-
Hope all the kids are feeling better and that you are on the mend.

Eric…I’d love to know what you used to watermark the photos too!!

You will LOVE your Nikon D40x. I have had a Canon Digital Rebel XT for a year and a half now, and can’t put it down!!! I highly reccomend getting a telephoto lens. You can just sit back at a distance while the kids are playing, and shoot away!!

Your kids look great! Mind if I borrow Cole so he can help Caleb figure out eating, growing and how to get better lungs? I am so sorry to hear about what happened with your site. It’s such a shame because you have touched and helped many people (including us) by sharing your story.
      Take care,

I have been a reader for several months (non-threating lurker) but haven’t posted. I found your blog looking for a friend’s triplets. You have an absolutey gorgeous family, and I can’t believe someone would try to highjack your family. Thanks for info on how to keep ourselves safe, and for continuing your blog for those of us who love seeing your beautiful children learn and grow.

I’m determined to post more to spread the love for the three and the angel. Gotta love drews cheeks! Mila is 3 months old and just 10 lbs ( maybe……..) now! I could nibble those cheeks!

Awsome on Cole weaning off the pulmicort. My 3 year old was on it until he turned two. Something about wheezing whenever anyone coughed within a 10980943 mile radius…

What wonderful news about Cole! Congratulations on the wonderful appointment! I agree, Drew is just so sweet! Enjoy that new camera! Can you post info about stamping photos!? Thanks! I deleted my blog because of this whole thing, but if I could know it was private, I’d start it again.

So glad you guys are sticking around.

Exciting news for Cole’s last visit with Dr. W And Paige trying to walk!!! Reminds me of Katelyn, once she figures out she can do it there’s no stopping her. Drew is absolutely adorable! Makes P & C look more like toddlers with a newborn around.

Looks like you’re really loving that new digi SLR! I have a canon drebel and LOVE IT! I have a bit of a photography background too. aaahhhhh I can smell the darkroom chemicals now! Have fun with your new toy! I will start posting more often to make your 30 posts goal!
