Chuck E CheeseDrew Eating Baby FoodCole About To Teach His Old Man A Lesson Paige Eating Lots Of Pizza At Chuck E Cheese

Tobie here:

This weekend went down in the history books for a most fabulous weekend.  My aunt and cousin flew in Friday night to hang out with us for a couple days.  Saturday morning was the first swim lesson at the new swim school.  Cole went first and he LOVED it (we are alternating weeks with each baby).  Both kids are coo-coo for swimming now.  I can’t even take Cole on his swing in the backyard because he just points and moans at the swimming pool.  Anyways, we have a guy instructor (who was awesome) and I’m curious to see how Paige responds to him as 90% of the people that are in her life are female.  Later on Saturday we took everyone to Chuck E Cheese for the first time.  What sensory overload!  I can’t believe P& C can still be afraid of the vacuum after being in that place!  There were lights flashing, music blaring, kids running and screaming everywhere….everyone seemed to have a great time.  The pizza was surprisingly good too.  Well, we could only stay so long there because Cole’s feet were hurting because I had him in shoes that were a size too small and two widths too small.  Who knew?

Eric here: Somehow I deleted the last part of Tobie’s post. Ooops. Drew isn’t feeling so hot right now (you should hear him, he sounds so sad because his voice is really hoarse) and so she’s got no time to rewrite it. So I’ll do my best to pull it from memory…we also went to the zoo for the first time on Sunday (sans Eric). It was hot, very hot. The peed has been on us to see the zoo and all the animals, but it’s been 110+ degrees since May. We thought we could beat the heat by going at the crack of dawn. By the time we got to the zoo it was already 9 am. So much for an early start. I wish I could say C & P could appreciate the animals, but they were more focused on the people, path and railings. Did I mention it was hot? We didn’t stay long, but on our way out, more families were just arriving. I guess they have grown acclimated to the AZ heat (unlike us house people). It was a great weekend with a great aunt. And of course a second great cousin! Thanks again for coming guys. Can’t wait till your next visit. You are coming back, right? Hello?

      Yeah - fun weekends!
There are weekends here where we feel on overdrive, doing lots of fun stuff… and then there are weekends where we feel that we didn’t leave the living room. :) Both can be nice.
Is that Cole trying to put the fork in his eye? We are having that same issue w/ both girls trying to stick forks, spoons, toast, waffles, avocado, peas, blueberries, etc. in their eyes. DANGEROUSLY close to the eyeballs, mind you!

Paige is a clasic textbook definition of agog. Agog. “Little Paige was agog with all the bells, whistles, shiny things et all”. Agog.
