I think we experienced our first night terror here last night. It was the spookiest thing ever. Cole woke me up screaming like a mad man with wickedly wild screaming. Of course I’d expect this out of Paige, but Cole? So I ran into his room to see what was up. I was fully expecting a diaper load of poop (or two) to greet me as he has gone three days now without a BM. But no. He was flailing around screaming and he literally didn’t see me. The peed said that’s how we’d know the difference between nightmares and night terrors. So after I grabbed him and held him tight without taking him out of his crib he just sat there and stared at me with these spooky eyes. He was really tired so I think that made his eyes look spookier. Then he would start to doze off but as soon as he slumped over he’d sit up and start staring at me again. It’s like he was afraid to lay down and go back to sleep. Creepy!!!!

Crazy…Lane did the same thing last night. He woke up crying and I couldn’t fully wake him up. He was like in a dream state and not liking it. Too weird. I wonder if the same monster was in Cole’s room:)

We have just been given a miracle drug from the doctor that has reversed Enara’s “poop” issues. She is like a different baby now that she is regular.
I have been following your blog for a while and have decided to de-lurk.
I love hearing your stories about your kids. It is wonderful how well they are all doing. Stop by and see me sometime.
Laura - what drug?
Kristalose, the doctor said it would take around 4 days to work. We saw results the first day and she has had a BM everyday since. Its a 10 gram packet and we put half a pack in 1 bottle a day. She is such a happy baby again. If anything it works too well but the doctor said she would rather see things too loose than not moving at all.
Also a long time lurker but wanted to say hi. We have triplets too and have been following the blog since right around the time the kids were born. Our son had a night terror Thanksgiving last year. I thought he was having seazures and took him to the e.r. I felt really silly so at least you knew what it was. Hopefully it will be a one time thing! Our son was, so good luck!
So scary. My 12 month old daughter has them. It’s so sad and scary, because they don’t even know you. I feel so badly and sit there with her wanting to cry. I hope it stops soon…my nephew had them until he was 3.
We sadly suffer from night terrors here as well. Our ‘younger’ twin has them at least once a week, and they are just horrible….
Good luck w/ the poop issues…
My 3 and a half year old started having these at 9 months old and had them probably once a week. He still has them, but now only once every 6 weeks or so. Its definitely very creepy!
Hayden has them & I agree w/ everyone else…..very scary & not much you can do. I just go in there & try to wake him up (rub his back & comfort him)
He has them several times a week & he also started at about Cole’s age)
not much advice here….sorry
looking forward to you all getting better so we can see you & show you our new addition !!
