1. Suzan– current weights as of last Saturday: Paige 25+, Cole 22+, Drew 18+ (very close to 19lbs). I didn’t remember exact weights as it happened really fast and I didn’t have a pen and paper handy.
2. Readers’ suggestions for books: We bought pretty much the entire Sesame Street Beginnings books. Love them. Even though the kids are not ready for Potty Time they love watching the urine flush down the toilet at the end. Drew loves Cookie Kisses. Not so sure what the attaction is behind the Eric Carle books. We bought two of those since so many of you liked them and the author uses very mature wording and the pictures are not at all cute. The kids don’t seem to care so maybe this is a Mommy dislike.
3. How do you get the kids to take the breathing treatments? Never had a problem with this. I think because we did this with Cole for the first 15 months of life he just is used to it. He actually cried when I turned the nebulizer off after one of these last rounds of treatments. I don’t know what the fascination is with it. When he was a baby we used the nose mask, this time we used the mouthpiece. He likes them both.
4. Drew’s name is Drew. Not short for anything. Yes, he is the most amazing baby ever.

Wow - Drew weighs almost as much as my 1 year old daughter. She was a full term baby, and is just 18lbs 14oz and 28″ at 12 months. She’s the smallest little walker I’ve ever seen…Puts Drew’s massive size in perspective, for me at least…He’s a bruiser!!!
They sound like they are all doing awesome!
I think the breathing treatments could be a preemie thing. Nate is 3 and sits for them for a pro. Just sits and wears the mask and has never fought us since he has had them since birth?
Thanks for all the updates. However, now I am concerned about the girls’ weights
I can’t believe Drew is already 18+ pounds. My girls (Zoe and Ella) are only 20+ and Aidan is 22+. I agree with Sammie in that preemies are used to the BT. All three of ours sit like pros too when it comes to them. They actually enjoy it and fight over who goes first.
I glad they like the Beginnings books. My son has out grown them but will still sit down and have a good laugh.
BT are a regualar here, we tried to switch to mouth piece the kid flipped out. He has mask shaped a Dino, who knows the mind of a 4.5 year old.
Gotta tell ya, that first picture of Cole is incredible. Those eyes are too blue to be true.
