We went to the park today to feed the ducks.
Unfortunately there weren’t just a few ducks there,
but a whole bleep load of ducks geese and disease infested rats pigeons.
It’s like a scene out of Jurassic Park, but with ducks and pigeons and babies
and not so many dinosaurs. Wait a minute, didn’t velociraptors evolve from birds?
This guy seemed pretty cool, but I bet if you turn your back on him he would eat you alive.
Cole did a good job feeding the ducks, Paige wanted to look elsewhere.
I even decided to make a rare appearance in a picture.
This duck goose was pure evil. Look at that beady eye.
Finally it was time to leave.
The end.

Looks like you guys had a great time! I can’t believe how grown up the kids are starting to look.
It’s like the movie the birds. Freaky. I’m glad that we live in Chicago, it’s getting cold here, so most of the disease ridden birds are flying south. Looks like you and Cole had a good time, I’m not sure about Paige, and Drew looks all covered up, was he sleeping? Nice to see you in a picture, Eric. Maybe sometime in the future you can post one of you and Tobie together. (Although, my husband and I haven’t been in a picture together since our daughter was born 9/06)
Sarah - I say the same thing about Cooper everytime I see a picture of him.
Sabrina - A picture of Tobie and I together? That’s crazy talk!
The last picture I saw of the two of you together was from your wedding !
I love keeping track of your tribe on the blog. The kids are adorable. By the way, most of the birds in your pictures are indeed geese, not ducks. Ducks are nice, geese are horrible - like those stinky pigeons. And geese will definitely turn on you if you get them cornered. The wreck our golf courses, and they are big poop machines.
Pat - I updated the post to reflect the correct Anseriformes
And yes I stepped in a ton of poop, that’s why we didn’t let the kids out of the choo choo because it was land mine central.
love the title….you are brave, I hate geese…they are moody:) great pics as usual-
I love their wagon!
Very cool.
Eric, it looks like you have a teeny tiny goose sitting on your hand in that picture. Freaky.
Amanda - oh yeah I didn’t see that initially. We brought him home with us, his name is Fred. Did you know Paige’s middle name is Amanda? Sweet.
Bring hot tamales with you next time…they HATE those!
Great pics, ya’ll. Love the morning sun you got. I thought that was a house in background. Then I remembered……….you have mountains….breathtaking.
Good to see all of you are on the mend.
