Drew is awesome! Unbelievably adorable with a fantastic sense of humor. The kid is always smiling and laughing. He no longer is stationary. He’s commando crawling and rolling and scooting everywhere. The picture of him under the end table was interesting. I was changing Paige’s diaper and he was in the center of the room when I left him. I returned about 3 minutes later and it took me a few seconds to find him. He was laughing and played under the table for about 10 minutes. The funniest part of that picture is that he dragged all those toys under the table with him!
He’s eating table food now and lovin’ it. We’ve tried mashed potatoes and veggies with him. He loves cookies, crackers, and Cheetos. He is pulling himself up to a standing position which is scary if I’m not around because he is so big…most things will either move or fall over on him when he pulls up.
Because he is mobile now, I can no longer take the kids to the park by myself. I did try it last week. I used to just put Drew on a blanket while I helped Paige and Cole play on the playground equipment. I turned around and saw Drew shoveling grass, dirt and sticks into his mouth as he crawled off the blanket and was laying in the dirt. I would have to hold him the entire time at the park which is not practical. We weighed him unofficially a couple nights ago and he weighed in around 23 lbs. Our method had Cole at 24 lbs and Paige at 27 lbs.
He also talks A LOT. He is saying “mmmmmm” and “ba” now and squealing like crazy. He still isn’t napping great but I’m seeing improvement. He goes to sleep around 7pm and most nights doesn’t wake until 4am. To me that’s sleeping through the night. He’s also starting to imitate. If Cole starts banging his spoon on his tray, Drew will also do the same with his. It’s hilarious to watch.
I love my little man.

He is so darn cute!! He is quite the little moose man! He will be running around with Cole and Paige in a heartbeat!
oh he is getting so big, and is sooo cute, he seems to like to play like my hunter…. under things.
In our foyer we have a dresser under the steps, and hunter loves to play behind it, we call it “the cave”. {yes dresser is anchored to the floor for safety sake!}
Is it weird having a full termer do things “on time” or “ahead of time”? so used to the preemies afriad I will think our new peanut is doing things way to early.
23 lbs! Chunky little monkey. I thought I saw a car seat/carrier in the zoo video. Mine is only good up to 20 lbs. Is yours more heavy duty or is Drew in a new car seat yet?
Drew doesn’t use an infant seat anymore. He’s in a regular kid car seat. That infant seat was just to cruise the zoo incase he was tired.
He is too cute
