Paige had her eye surgery yesterday. It was bilateral eye muscle reattachment I think they called it. We woke up bright and early and headed down without food or drink (ugghh, that may have been harder on me than Paige) to the surgery center. I have to say it again…if anyone needs a pediatric eye doc in the valley, email us. Our doctor is so unbelievably nice, patient and good…it’s scary. Getting back to Paige….I think the surgery was a success. From what the doc explained….it’s not a for-sure deal that it worked because only time will tell if her brain is using her eyes correctly in their new position and the eyes will remain properly aligned. Supposedly with this surgery it can take 3-4 operations before all is well. But besides for looking like the Terminator, Paige is in good spirits.
